Reef Road Surf Guide
Reef Road in South Florida is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that usually has waves. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the west. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the north northeast. The beach breaks offer left-handers and there is also a left hand reef break.. Best around low tide when the tide is rising. Sometimes crowded. Beware of sharks and rocks.
