Offshore winds blow from the northwest with some shelter here from northeast winds. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the south. The sandbar break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Be wary of sharks, they are not unknown here.
