Soup Bowl Surf Guide
Soup Bowl on the East Coast is an exposed reef break that has very consistent waves, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds are from the southwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the northeast. A right hand reef break. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Watch out for urchins, rips and rocks.
