The Box in Valencia is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that does not work very often. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the west southwest. Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the ideal wave angle is from the east northeast. The beach break provides left and right handers together with both left and right hand reef breaks offshore. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Watch out for urchins and obstacles.
