Tremone Strand Surf Guide
Tremone Strand in Donegal is a fairly exposed beach break that has reliable surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the south and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell angle is from the north. Waves at the beach break both left and right. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when the surf is up, crowds are unknown. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
