Vari in Aegean Sea is an exposed beach break that does not work very often. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the north northwest with some shelter here from west winds. Waves can be ok even in light onshore winds There is too little fetch for groundswells to form and the best wave direction is from the south. The beach break provides left and right handers. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded
