- Went to surf the spot, very good swell that are fun.
- Decent sloppy swells peeling right handed. Set waves are around 1 meter.
- A little bigger again on Wednesday. The easterly was affecting breaks north of here and although it was about calm at Anatori there was still some easterly windswell and even some SW chop from Kahurangi Point. Sets were a foot overhead here and as usual of late, it was better on the east end of the bay than at the point itself. Sunny. Just two of us out.

- Tuesday high tide swell was bigger than Monday, just as forecast, with sets overhead at the most exposed reefs and only brief lulls. Unfortunately, the wind was also as forecast. Even though there was a strong easterly whipping up a windswell in Golden Bay, a SW breeze from Paturau south was strong enough to make a few whitecaps. Even so, pretty good. Sunny and warm.

- Clean waves at high tide on Monday with the waist to shoulder-high glassy waves and just the occasional head-high wave at the most exposed reefs. Some lulls but breaking normally again after the NW swell changed the sand banks back to how they were before that huge SW swell of 3 weeks ago. Light westerly breeze went to calm as cloud built from the north with light evening rain. Similar condittions but smaller waves at Wharariki.
