Boneyards in Margaret River is a sheltered sandbar break that has reasonably consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the south with some shelter here from southwest winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. Waves at the sandbar tend to peel to the right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water.
