Cachagua in Santiago is an exposed beach break that has consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the north northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for rips, rocks.
