Dickys on the North Coast is an exposed beach and reef break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the west. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the east southeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights and there are also left and right hand reef breaks on offer.. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Beware of rips, rocks and sharks.
