East Beach Surf Guide
East Beach in North Coast of Tasmania is an exposed beach break that has unreliable waves. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the south southeast. Surfable in an onshore breeze Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the ideal wave direction is from the north. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days.
