Golf Course Reef Surf Guide
Golf Course Reef on the South Coast is an exposed reef break that does not work very often. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the west. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. A reef breaks left. Best around mid tide when the tide is falling. Rarely crowded here. Hazards include urchins, rips, rocks and sharks.
