Governors Island in East Coast of Tasmania is an exposed reef break that has pretty consitent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the west. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the east. No reef break here. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for - Urchins - Rips / undertow - Rocks - Localism - Sharks.
