Killiney Bay in Wexford is a sheltered sandbar break. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the west northwest with some shelter here from northwest winds. Able to handle light onshore wind Windswells are much more typical than groudswells and the optimum wave angle is from the south. The sandbar breaks offer lefts and rights. An uncrowded break, even when it is working.
