The best wind direction is from the west with some shelter here from south winds. Surfable in an onshore breeze Most of the surf comes fis in the form of windswells and the ideal wave angle is from the south. Waves at the beach are mainly lefts. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. The crowds in the water make a gath helmet a good idea.
