Lennox Head on the North Coast is an exposed point break that has reliable surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the southwest. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south southeast. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Often Crowded. Watch out for rocks, rips and sharks.
