Marina di Carrara Surf Guide
Marina di Carrara in West Coast of Italy is an exposed beach break that does not work very often. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the north northeast with some shelter here from southeast winds. Windswells are much more typical than groudswells and the optimum wave angle is from the southwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right as well as a left hand reef break. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
