Formentera - Playa des Mitgjorn in Balearic Islands (Islas Baleares) is an exposed beach break that does not work very often with no particular seasonal pattern. Works best in offshore winds from the north. Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the ideal wave direction is from the southeast. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A remote wave spot that never gets crowded. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
