Pointe Canon in La Digue is an exposed reef and point break that only works when conditions are just right. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast with some shelter here from west southwest winds. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell angle is from the east southeast. The left reef break is best, but there is a right reef too. It very rarely gets crowded here. Beware of - Urchins - Rocks.
