Quarry Surf Guide
Quarry in Mahe is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the west northwest. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rips, jagged and shallow reef.
