Turimetta Beach Surf Guide
Turimetta Beach in Sydney North Coast is an exposed beach and reef break that has fairly consistent surf. The optimum time of year for waves is autumn. The best wind direction is from the west northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the east southeast. Waves at the beach break both left and right and there is a left hand reef break as well. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
