Long Reef Bombie Surf Guide
Long Reef Bombie in Sydney North is an exposed reef break. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. A left hand reef break. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of urchins, rips, rocks, man-made danger (buoys etc...) and sharks.
